Who
we are

The PDA Nook is a warm, inclusive space created by PDA parents, for PDA parents-a place to gather, be seen, and exhale.

In addition to parent peer support, The PDA Nook also offers reflective consultation spaces for mental health professionals supporting PDA identified individuals and families. These consult groups are grounded in relational ethics, nervous system awareness, and humility, and are co-facilitated in collaboration with a licensed clinician.

Founded and facilitated by Deborah Meggitt, MA MFT Pre-Licensed, trained PDA North America Support Leader, and fellow parent. Deborah holds an MA in Adlerian Counseling and Psychotherapy, and brings a PDA and neuro-affirming, trauma-informed, nervous system-aware lens grounded in lived experience and deep compassion.

We come together as the experts of our individual PDA journeys-to share, to co-regulate, and to remember we are not alone.

The Sun is always Shining behind the Clouds.
